I have VmWare bonded to the local nic ot ISA 2006.What you mean by this? Which type of connection you configured in
VMWare (NAT, bridged or host-only)?
The telnet from ISA works, the telnet from the VmWare machiune bonded to theCan you ping that host?
local nic, does not (ultimately telnet returns could not open connection to the
host, on port 25: connect failed.
Considering trying the firewall client. This VmWare machine is an ExchangeThere is no reason. I think default firewall client configuration will

Is there any reason why I shouldn't install the firewall client on an Exchange
2003 box?
not do anything with Exchange connections (also FWC by default doesn't
work with telnet).
