One other issue with SP3: All my applications on the server that were
configured to use a proxy (Trend AV, WSUS, Spam) now won't function unless
they are set to NOT use a proxy. What did SP3 do to require this change? Is
there something else wrong with my ISA config?

Found that SP3 was also preventing Acrobat auto-update from getting
through. Did some further tinkering and resolved the problem by disabling
the "Use a proxy server . . . " option on the workstation at Internet
Properties|Connections|LAN settings and by deselecting "Use a Web proxy
server" at ISA Server|Configuration|Networks|Internal General (so that the
firewall client would not re-enable the use of a proxy server).
I have no idea what SP3 did to require this change. Another server still
at SP2 has the "Use a Web proxy server" option checked and the
workstations are having no problems. What are the consequences of
disabling the use a proxy server option? What is the default setting? The
server I installed SP3 on is the home/test server and I need to understand
this before installing SP3 on production servers.

I'm having another problem with SP3. Quicken 2007 Premiere will not
update and Quicken gives me a firewall error. This worked fine before SP3
was installed. This workstation is a laptop and Quicken successfully
updates when it is not behind ISA. So, I know it's SP3.
Problem is that I can't figure out what the problem is. System is SBS
2003 Premium SP1 with ISA 2004 SP3. The ISA log shows a series of
Initiated and Closed connections from the workstation. The closed
connection says that the log type was Firewall Service, with Status: "A
connection was abortively closed after one of the peers sent a RST
segment." The protocal was Unidentified IP Traffic (TCP:8080). Rule is
the SBS Protected Networks Access Rule.
Please help. I've spent hours on this.
John
