You have to use Server Publishing.
1. You have to first create a new "Protocol" based on the port specs the
device needs. No room for mistakes here,...it has to be correct.
2. You then create the Server Publishing Rule
Source: External
To: <IP# of the "thing">
Protocol: <protocol you created>
There could even be more than this, but there is no way I could know what
that would be.
You could also just forget the whole thing and use GoToMy PC and remote
control the MCE PC from the web. Then you wouldn't even need "WebGuide" to
begin with.
Or you could just forget GoToMy PC and do a Server Publishing scenario for
the Protocol,..."RDP (Terminal Services) Server". Note it is the "server"
version. Then you would remote control (Remote Desktop) the MCE machine
from the web. And again, will not even need "WebGuide" to begin with.

I have a ISA as my home firewall rather then a router
there is a program i am trying to run and cant get it to work
The program is called Webguide and it uses port 1818 for the web and
port
1819 for video streaming . This is a program to connect to MCE maching
to
set
recordings away from home
i know ISA is blocking it but cant figure out why

A DMZ is just a network segment,..an actual physical network segment.
It would be better to just explain what you want to do and why.
