Re: Forms authentication - change password

In fact, I have almost same problem. Our ISA 2006 isn't in our domain, the
authentication in Listener is "HTML Form Authentication" and Authentication
Validation Mehod is "Windows (Active Directory)".

The users could log on OWA without any problem, and they could change
password using the button on "Option" panel after logging on OWA. I'm
wondering why the "Change Password" function on ISA log-on screen doesn't
work.

The error shows as after entering old/new passwords:

The page cannot be displayed
Explanation: There is a problem with the page you are trying to reach
and it cannot be displayed.

Try the following:

a.. Refresh page: Search for the page again by clicking the Refresh
button. The timeout may have occurred due to Internet congestion.
b.. Check spelling: Check that you typed the Web page address
correctly. The address may have been mistyped.
c.. Access from a link: If there is a link to the page you are
looking for, try accessing the page from that link.

a.. Error Code: 403 Forbidden. The server denied the specified
Uniform Resource Locator (URL). Contact the server administrator. (12202)

Based on my further research, the change password feature within ISA 2006
FBA is only supported using Secure LDAP.
