When you specify the proxy what error message are you receiving when
attempting to browse?

I believe it is. Because ISA 2004 put the settings in there for me.
Thanks

Are you sure your proxy settings are correct. You should be specifying
the isa host name or internal ip address. Your original post said ...
My web browser is setup for proxy with the
domain name and port 8080

I did what you had written down.
It still can't get on the internet.
If I disable the proxy settings in IE i'm fine.
But when I put it back on, it doesn't
get on the internet.
Thanks for the help Phillip.
Please advise.

Could you show me how to create a rule for that?
Thanks

ISA is not part of "Internal"
ISA is not part of "External"
ISA is only part of a special network object called "LocalHost".
ISA does not "trust" any network.
If you have no rule for LocalHost-to-External then you will go
nowhere to the outside from the ISA itself.

I am using SBS2003r2 and ISA2004.
Before I installed ISA2004 I could browse
websites in Internet Explorer.
After installing ISA2004 I can't browse
any websites now.
My web browser is setup for proxy with the
domain name and port 8080.
Please advise.
Thanks
