RE: Publish to External FrontPage Server

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Hi Ken,
The machine connecting is a Web Proxy Client, the Firewall Agent that runs,
configures the browser as well to use proxy (as it should) so that all
traffic is filtered and monitored.

Frontpage 2003 only will connect when the IE settings are disabled to use
proxy, in effect bypassing the ISA 2006 server, and going straight to the
internet. Since my machine can travel and in the event of a disaster things
are configured so that I can bypass in an emergency (this is my guess)

So in short, I just need to build a rule in ISA 2006 to allow FrontPage
traffic from my machine thru and back...

OF NOTE...if I change my IE browser settings to point to my old ISA 2000
server, FrontPage is fat dumb and happy, it works like a charm.

Hello,

Do you mean you have enabled proxy in IE and you can connect to the remote
website? Is this a web proxy client?
