Hi. I will look for the configuration storage server remote access but i
cannot remember seeing it there. I think you only have that on the
enterprise version. The option of working from the terminal is not
available, these servers are thousands of miles from me. I have done the
logging thing but it does not give me a deny packet or anything that could
point to where the problem is. I am starting to get the idea that my routing
configuration might be the problem.

Hi Morris,
i only have the german version here,...so i try to explain the real name
for the configuration param ;) in your system rules you can find something
like "Configuration Storage Server remote access". If your configuration
storage on the same machine like your firewall check this point and enable
remote access. Do the same for the "local configuration Storage access" (i
don't know for sure if these rules only for accessing via mmc)
the last thing.....
Off course you have access to your server directly at a console ;). So
start the logging and watch the logs. And you'll see what's the problem :)

Yes, everything is configured in the system rules. I even tried to
publish the server and it did not work. Then I rebuilt the server and
still no access after service pack 2. What is weird is if i re-install
service pack two and do not restart it, i have access, but the moment i
restart it and the service pack is applied i lose the access. I have
triple checked the system rules to make sure my ip has access and it has.
I am experiencing this problem on four serviers at the moment which makes
me think that iether a hotfix is in conflict or i made a configuration
error somewhere. I know ISA pretty well and this has stumped me.
