Re: ISA publishing error

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Hold that thought....
I found this post about about SecureNAT:

When you configure a client (IE for example) with a proxy server, IE
will
connect as a webproxy client; whether the FW client is installed or
not.

If IE has no webproxy defined, the FW client will be used (assuming
it's
installed).
If the FW client isn't installed, it will (try to) connect as a
secureNAT
client.

So you can say the order is:
1. Webproxy (if appropriate)
2. FW/Winsock client
3. SecureNAT

We dont use the FW Client on servers, IE on the Exchange server is
configured with a web proxy, so I guess the answer is no, it's a web
proxy client.

Sorry for any confusion, my bad.

Shaine
