I attempted to re- install ISA2004 EE SP2, but during the installation I
got a warning:
"Setup failed while registering new events and alerts.
Refer to the KB article of this update for support."

Then I clicked OK and ISA 2004 SP2 install "rolled back".
Are you aware of such problem with ISA 2004 SP2 ?

Nope. Sounds to me like a software conflict with some other component. Are
you running any 3rd party addons for ISA? You may want to uninstall those,
if you do, then reinstall... Also, considering SP2 has not been fully
applied to your configuration, did you try re-installing SP1?

Finally, do you have a server backup that you could go back to?
