isa allows connections to ports 25 and 110 despite being BLOCKED
Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance
hi
i hva isa server 2000 sp2 fp1 on a machine running sbs2000 with two NICs
(one connects to the internal network and the other to the intenet).
the server is configured to block all incoming connections except for pptp
(vpn) and allow all outgoing connections.
I have no server publishing rules
while testing the server from the outside I found out that ISA allows me to
connect to ports 25 and 110. They don't show up as open ports when I attempt
a port scan but I can connect to them.
Is this a flaw in ISA or have I missed a configuration?
thank you in dvance
