RE: Adding OWA to the ISA2004 server on a second IP Address

Dear Charles,

Thank you for posting.

This is Lee and I am glad to meet you in the newsgroup.
Regarding this issue, can you help me to clarify your requirement in more
detail?

You had mentioned "I have a 'delasalle.k12.mo.us' URL that connects to me
at 66.136.154.252. I need to add this email service to my ISA server."
What do you want to do? Do you mean while the external users type the
'delasalle.k12.mo.us' in IE, you want to them to go to the
66.136.154.252(the second IP on your external NIC of the ISA server) and
access the OWA?

If so, you need to perform the following steps to meet you requirement:
1. Regsiter the DNS name delasalle.k12.mo.us on the Internet DNS server.
(You can contact your ISP for the name registration)

2. Create a server publishing rule to publish the OWA web site on the ISA
server on the IP address of 66.136.154.252
For detail steps to publish OWA on the ISA 2004, you can take a look at the
following URL for more information:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/isa/2004/plan/owapublishing.msp
x

Note: You can choose the Ip for the OWA to listen in the dialog of
"External Network Listener IP Selection" while creating the publish rule
Choose the 66.136.154.252 which is the IP address on your external NIC in
the dialog.

To publish the OWA on the IP 66.136.154.253, you will only need to use the
same steps above but choose 66.136.154.253 in the dialog of "External
Network Listener IP Selection"

Hope the above information helps. Have a nice day!

Sincerely,

Lee Li
