ISA configuration script.

Here is the situation.
ISA 2004 running on Windows 2003
Windows XP sp2 client with all the latest hotfix's, IE configured to
automatically give username and password on security level.
Windows 2000 SP4 with all the hotfixes IIS server. Intranet web site running
with integrated authentication and basic.
The LDT on ISA contains the intranet domains.
User access's an intranet site on the windows 2000 server inside the
network. Authentication passes through with integrated and works fine.
User access's an intranet site through our checkpoint vpn solution.
IF
just the proxy specified (ip address used in proxy server field), IE see's
the web site as an "internet" site and asks for authentication.
IF
No proxy information specified, IE see's the web site as an "internet" site
and asks for authentication.
IF
The configuration script is specified, IE see's the web site as an "local
intranet" site and gives an error says page could not be loaded.
IF
basic authentication is the only auth on the web site, IE requests
authentication and again it works fine.
Since we want to use the ISA configuration script this is a bit annoying.
Anyone got any ideas?
