There are no technical problems. Security problems? . . depends on who you
ask. Conventional security practice say it's not a good idea to connect a
DC directly to the internet, but the Small Business Server 2003 does just
that with a DC/Exhange/ISA all bundled on one box.
If it is for a small business and you carefully configure the ISA server, go
for it. If you are configuring a business that would be a popular target
for intruders because of the business they are in - don't risk your
reputation on a configuration that most security people would shy away from.
