Hi guys, any ideas? I've gone through an ISA Log, and it doesn't contain
any information from the user PC's at all, just some activity from the
server. :-S
Thanks,

| Hi Tony, thanks for your reply.
|
| To reply to your questions...
|
| There are no event logs about report creation problems, the logfiles are
| configured for the correct location, and the admin password is definitely
| correct and now working fine.
|
| In fact, the reports do seem to be working now after I went through the
ISA
| Management tool and checked a few settings.
|
| However, I am concerned that the reports are not picking up user activity
| properly, or if it is, it's not displaying it. In the list of top
websites,
| there's only a few websites listed, when I know for a fact that there
should
| be lots of them. Also, it doesn't show any information about Top Users,
| making me think that the users in the office are getting to the internet a
| different route than what is monitered in these reports.
|
| A quick summary of our setup is this:
|
| 1 server running Windows 2000 and Small Business Server 2000
| 8 x user PC's, all running Windows 2000
| Access to internet via Netgear DG814 ADSL router, which is connected to
the
| server.
|
| Do you have any ideas what I need to do to enable proper user logging?
| Either on the server or on their PC's?
|
| Thanks for any help, it's appreciated.

| | Check your Event Logs to see if you have report creation
| | authentication problems.
| |
| | Verify your logfiles are configured for the default
| | location. For some reason if you're not writing text
| | logfiles <and> they aren't located in the default
| | directory, they're not read.
| |
| | There is also a bug which can happen where if you change
| | the Admin account's password, ISA might not pick it up and
| | you need to enter a blank password.
| |
| | I did that on one system, after a couple weeks the blank
| | password didn't work but the real password started working
| |again.
| |
| | No explanation in the KB article why this can happen.
