I have an ISA server, which is using another proxy server as upstream
proxy / virus scanner etc. The upstream proxy is in a DMZ and is
listenening on 10.11.12.13:3128 - and it might serve progress info to
clients.
10.11.12.0/24 is NOT in the LAT table.
When using manual configuration everything works and goes though the
ISA server. Also works with bypass for local.
With autoconfiguration (LAT table verified in WPAD.DAT) things fails.
The client requestst the URL, gets an error 302 (Page has moved), and
a new location like http://10.11.12.13:3128/status?id=123
The problem is, in the autoconf scenario, this is sent over the
firewall client (not in manually use proxy), and since the user does
not have Internet access to port 3128 his connection fails.
So how can I get ISA server with autoconf to make the clients send all
HTTP web requests to the ISA web proxy, just like manual conf does ?
