Hi all,
It seems I have a hard time with the ISA concept and the MS help isn't
really helping.
I have a SBS2000 with ISA running. Everything is working on the original
setup (Website/Exchange etc). Now my boss wants to host another website that
has nothing to do with our domain. The site is only accessed from the
Internet.
Here is what I thought should work.
I added a second IP public address on the ISA external nic. I configured the
website to this new public IP. Then I tried to convince ISA to respond to
external requests to that IP address.
I added the address under the properties of the ISA under incoming requests.
I added a packet filter (in- and outbound)
I also tried to add a web publishing rule.
And I tried what ever else I could think of. The MS support sites aren't
helping either.
500 grey hairs later, the ISA is still not serving the website. What the
heck am I doing wrong here? Any hint, help, direction - anything - would be
very much appreciated.
Thanks,
Claus
