There is a big difference between marketing claims and what you actually
get. We have a hardware based firewall that shows a "live" view of the log
as it is being written to but if you configured it to show all that traffic
the page would scroll so fast you couldn't read it and wouldn't do any good
as a real-time monitor.
Isa does show active "Sessions", the Service it is tied to and who the user
is. It also does Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly Reports. There are
thirdparty log anylizers to parse the logs for the data in them (but that
isn't live). In the end you can get more data then you could ever hope to
do anything with, but it isn't going to be the "live" at-your-fingertips
kind of situation that your question implied. That is what I was responding
to.
There may be more available in ISA2004, I don't know.

The developers of WinRoute plan to release the features I've stated in version 6.0 of the softare in a few months. You should try their demo version of their current version. The current version has some of the features I've discribed but not all. That's why I was wondering if ISA could have done that. I understand the "live" aspect of the HTTP protocol but the program shows the connections that have been established and that are active. Based on the response here of ISA Server 2000, I think I'll give WinRoute a try for a few months and maybe upgrade when their 6.0 version comes out. > Thanks anyways.
