Hi Phillip,
We're all pretty busy with ISA 2004 stuff. :)
The problem you see related to the SecureNAT client and the fact that you
can't loop back with the SecureNAT client because the internal server
responds directly to the client. Since the SecureNAT client didn't send the
request to the Internal server, it drops the response.
In contrast, the Firewall client and Web Proxy client requests are proxied,
and the source IP address is changed to the IP address of the Firewall. Then
the Firewall returns the response to the client.
I have a number of articles on this issue on the ISAserver.org site. But
like you, I can't remember which ones discussed this specific issue :-)
