I work in a large business environment that supports
multiple clients. We have a need for the ISA proxy for
internet sites, but also a need to access many internal
sites via private circuits. Currently we use the Proxy
override settings in the user's web browser, but I would
like to set the browser to use an automatic configuration
script.
My question is, if I choose automatic configuration
script and point to "http://myisaserver:80/array.dll?
Get.Routing.Script" how are proxy overrides handled? Its
oviously not handled by the user's web browser anymore,
but I don't know where in ISA Server to add these URL's.
I need to have exception rules.
I looked under Client Configuration/Web Browser and saw a
section called "Direct Access" and a place to put
servers/domains to be directly accessed. Problem is, this
doesn't seem to work, or maybe has a really LONG delay in
working.
We don't use the Firewall client and do not want to
install any additional software on our workstations.
Can anyone help tell me where I can easily add URL
exceptions for the automatic configuration script?
Thanks,
Rob
