VPN on one small network

HI all,
I have a question. I have a business that has a small network. We
want to use the Netgear 4 port VPN router. We have the static IP from our
internet service provider as well.
I have to buy the additional software, not a problem, but here is my
question: Do I only need this one router? Does my network need to
terminate to another router in order to be a VPN network? When using the
client software, we were unable to log into the network remotely. What
could be the problem? Did we need a second router and didn't know it?
Please let me know- Thank you in advance- Rich
.
