Isa is killing me!
The situation is: Have sys configuration consist of ADSL router with public
DHCP assigned IP and I'm using dyndns.org for name resolving. On server 1st
NIC is connected to Router & 2nd NIC is connected to switch that distributes
my LAN (internal).
Isa is configured using template EDGE and default settings are ok (I can
send/receive mail, browse internet. Internally & externally RDP is working.
So to speak everything is great.)
My problem is VPN. It's not working. I tried several times using all sort of
manuals from www.isaserver.org & Microsoft, step by step. No success. The
errors I'm getting on isa server are: The VPN connection attempt by user
XXXXXX\XXXXXXX from VPN client IP address xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx could not be
established. The failure is due to error: 0xc0040021 . The error on client
computer is 691: Access was denied because the username and/or password was
invalid on the domain.
I checked username & pass 100 times. Tried everything.. Need help urgent.
I have to mention that on router (siemens 555) all the right port's are
forwarded. Regarding that? Do I have to forward ports on router or just make
isa server DMZ (exposed host).
Also I have to make Geovision video server published & that server uses
lot's of ports like 21,80,3389,3550,4550,5550,6550.... Is it ok to publish
it trough isa or to just plug it in router beside isa??
.
