Re: Can't Modify Default Cache Rule (ISA 2006)

the reason this is important is that a few weeks back we were having an
issue with ssl sites across our vpn and the cache ssl requests was causing
this.

We are having the same issue again but slightly different.

Clients on the vpn cannot access ssl sites again.

when monitoring in isa the traffic from the client is allowed out fine via a
rule ive created. if i monitor traffic from the external ssl site when it
responds im getting the following

Client IP - ssl webserver ip
destination IP - vpn client
Destination port - anything above 1024
Protocol - unidentified
Action - Denied Connection
Rule - none
Result Code - FWE_SPOOFING_PACKET_DROPPED
Source network - External
Destination network - Vpn clients
source port - 443

any idea why it would do this?

Hi,

We are having a problem where we cannot change any settings in the
Default rule under cache rules in ISA 2006.
Everything is grayed out.

Everything is grayed out or only parts of the cache rule? It is normal
that some settings are grayed out. You must create a new Cache rule to
have full control over the most cache settings. You can move this custom
rule up in the rule order to give this rule priority
