I'm glad to find this thread, since I have experienced the same
inability to log on to my office network from home since installing
Norton AntiVirus 2007. If I go to settings and Turn Off Internet Worm
Protection, however, I can log on to my office network without any
problem. But deactivating the Internet Worm Protection every time I
need to log on to my office network is a pain! And I can't find the
'stealthy ports' tick box in the fix recommended above by
neville.nob...@xxxxxxxxx (cut/paste is below)... perhaps that is only
available in Norton Internet Security and not available in Norton
Antivirus 2007??
"select the Configure option under Personal Firewall, then go
to Advanced Settings, then Untick the "Stealthy Ports" option. This
will allow yo to connect via VPN."
