Non domain member, IPSec VPN Certificate
Hi
Banging my head against a large wall here.
1. We have an Enterprise Root CA installed, running on Windows 2003
STANDARD edition.
2. My boss has a computer @ home, that he would like to VPN into the
office on.
3. Bringing the computer into the office is an absolutely LAST option.
4. The computer in question has never been on the domain.
How do I get a valid IPSec VPN cert onto his computer?
I can't use the IPSec (Offline Request) certificate since, in order for
this approach to work, I need to duplicate the certificate (if my
understanding is correct), which makes it a Version 2 certificate,
which requires me to be running the CA on Windows 2003 Enterprise
edition (this annoys the **** out of me).
I've read various posts, but none of them seem to really hit the nail
on the head...
Thanks in advance
Steve.
