Cannot RDP using ISA 2004 PPTP VPN

Hi,
I have several customers for whom we have installed ISA 2004 as their
firewall, internet gateway and VPN server. On at least a couple of
these I have noticed major problems connecting to machines on their
networks by using RDP through a PPTP VPN terminated on the ISA server.
I am using a standard PPTP client from windows xp or server 2003. I am
able to connect using VPN absolutely fine and I can also ping the
machine(s) I am trying to RDP to. There is a rule set up on each of the
sites to allow all traffic from VPN clients to internal and localhost
but whenever I try to connect to a any machine on the network by RDP
the initial blue screen pops up and then just freezes. I then either
get an egg timer or standard mouse pointer but nothing else happens. If
I publish any of the machines as an RDP server and connect directly
over the internet this works fine. I've seen this at a couple of
customers sites now, and it also seems to happen intermittently. It's
getting to be a big problem now as people are unable to RDP to their
machines when out of the office. I have noticed this problem or similar
ones listed previously but have never found any real answer. Does
anyone have any ideas on how I might resolve this?
