When I do this, shortly afterwards ISA overwrites the RRAS settings
with what they were before I changed them. Is there any way to stop
this?
ah, yes you are right. ISA Server overwrites the most of the Settings in RRAS! and keeps the ISA RRAS-Policy at top of the Rules. You can change the Rule order by using a NET STOP ISACTRL, rearranging the rule order and than execte a NET START ISACTRL.
But how to specify VPN Client timeouts? - i have no quick solution for your problem!
