RE: Cannot Access Internet After Starting VPN

On the remote machine right click the VPN network icon by the clock (lower
right hand corner) then select status then click the properties button, then
the network tab, highlight TCP/IP, then choose properties, then click
advanced button, and then uncheck the option.

Hello,

I am stuck with a problem in setting up VPN on my machine. I have a
Windows 2003 server that is connected to a Netgear MR814 router which
goes out to a DSL connection. I have DHCP enabled on the connection.

I use Secu Remote to connected with two VPNs (which secu Remote
allows). Further, because of some problems at one VPN end, I have set
my router to pick up from a pool different than the default pool of IP
Addresses (I could not link to one of the VPNs till I did that).

Now my problem is that, while I link successfully to both networks
simultaneously, the moment I get SecuRemote running my access to
internet goes.

All searches tell me that I should disable the 'use default gateway'
option. But I am yet to locate that option on the Windows 2003 server.

I would be glad if someone could give me pointers in this direction.

Thanks
Ritu
