Inicio automático VPN

Hay algún modo de al iniciar sesión en windows o con solo iniciar el sistema
y que automáticamente se ejecute una conexión de red?
Ej: Conexión telefónica a un ISP o VPN.

Ya he intentado poner la conexión en tareas programadas y/o en inicio (run)
pero no funciona.
De antemano gracias.
