If you need to reboot after the machine hangs then you can take the complete
dump on the machine and see the dump. To take complete dump go to My
computers -> Advanced tab -> Startup and recovery settings -> Write
debugging information (select complete memory dump).
OR
you can also take RAS logs
Before disconnecting give this command "netsh ras set tra * en" and then try
to hang up. After you disconnect the connection disable tracing by giving
command "netsh ras set tra * dis" to flush the logs. Logs are located at
%windir%\tracing directory.

Hello,
Not sure is this is the proper newsgroup to be on, but here goes. My kid
is at college but no longer on campus, so he has to connect to the
university network using a vpn accct. He can log in and use the account,
but when he logs off, his pc hangs. he is using Win XP Pro. Is there
anything I can check to see why this is happening?
Thank you,
Xray
