    hello.

I've googled for a solution for quite some time now and haven't come out
with a decent outcome... here's my stress:

Windows 2003 behind a router, ISP assigned 4 static IP's for this
router/DSL, routing and remote access are configured on the server.

I can connect via VPN, but it's a bit random, sometimes it works,
sometimes it fails reporting a 721 error.

another strange issue is that two of the IP's in question always fail,
but again it's random...perhaps right now ip 1 and 2 are working but 3
and 4 are not, in a wile 1 and 4 are working, 2 and 3 area failing...

I'd love to blame the ISP, but I've installed VNC on the server so I can
troubleshoot from home, and I found I can access the server via VNC all
ther time, with any IP I choose.

I'm using PPTP, I've got protocol GRE 47 enabled on the router and TCP
    1723 unblocked.

any ideias about what might be wrong?
