You can secure your default gateway setting on the client (not to be
overwritten by the VPN Server) by
(1) Right click the connectoid
(2) Networking
(3) TCP/IP Properties -> Advanced -> General
(4) Uncheck "Use default gateway on the remote machine".
Just curious to know why you do not want the default gateway as the VPN
server when you VPN in?
