ISA 2000 authenticating OWA users against local users database instead of domain

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Hi,

I have configurate a customer OWA using ISA 2000 server in a way that remote
clients authenticate against ISA instead of authenticating directly against
Exchange. All communications are made using https

However, since ISA was not member of the Exchange Domain, we recreated local
users in the ISA with the same user name and passwords than in the domain.

This works, exception made that ISA requests 2 and 3 times the user/password
when logining in, and it re-requests it from time to time.

This doesnt happends if using OWA in our LAN, just one authentication is
enough.

Why doesn't ISA remember the user/account during the session?

Thanks in advance.
