Hi,
Another server was used for the Configuration Storage Server (CSS) containing a bunch of rules.
only one CSS?
But yesterday, the css server completely crashed.
not good, no RAID, no redundancy, no Backup?
Question : is it possible to regenerate another css from one of the 2 array members, and if yes how can I do it ?
AFAIK no. The way is one way. An ISA node writes the config from the CSS to the local registry and not vica versa
I have no previous backup of the configuration !
absolutly not good.
One idea - I never tested this:
Export the Firewall rules of the ISA node to an XML file (not the entire configuration).
Create a new CCS, uninstall ISA from one node and reinstall the node to the new array (CSS) and import the exported rules.
Good luck.
