Hello Jim
Thank you for your replied
I have created a firewall policy called "access to internet"
Action = Allow
Protocol = Http, Https
from Internal > External
I can browse our company internet website eg www.company.com, but when I try
to browse other web site eg http://www.google.com
I get the following error
Network Access Message: The page cannot be displayed
Explanation: There is a problem with the page you are trying to reach and
it cannot be displayed.
Try the following:
Refresh page: Search for the page again by clicking the Refresh button. The
timeout may have occurred due to Internet congestion.
Check spelling: Check that you typed the Web page address correctly. The
address may have been mistyped.
Access from a link: If there is a link to the page you are looking for, try
accessing the page from that link.
If you are still not able to view the requested page, try contacting your
administrator or Helpdesk.

Yep - this is the way of ISA: "none shall pass" (apologies to John Cleese).
unless you create policies to allow the traffic.
You should take a read in the TechNet and isaserver.org articles.
There is much to learn about ISA before you try to deploy it.

Hello Everyone
I am new to ISA2006 just downloaded 180days Standard Edition try version and
installed to 2003 R2 Server.
During the installation it asked me to select an adapter and then I click
the add adapter button , it gave me a range of IP address. I accepted the
default setting and finish the installations. I am placing ISA on our
existing DMZ so I configured ISA to use a single network adapter template.
I try to ping the ISA server from internal clients I can't ping it..
Could some one tell me what step I have missed?
What is my next step?
I want our internal clients PC will be able to use the ISA server as a
caching proxy
server..
I am also planning on using the ISA as Reverse proxy for our Exchange 2003
server
any help will be really appreciated
Thank you
Mr555
