OK, I looked into a couple of specifics cases, and here's what's
happening.
When I use a web browser to fetch a URI that returns a 302 and the
browser
attempts a redirect, the deny rule works fine. When I do the same from
Windows Media Player, however, the redirect goes through and the audio
stream
begins playing. So, ISA allows the connection in the second case, but does
not in the first case. In both cases traffic is sent through HTTP, so I'm
confused as to why the two cases produce different results.

Just a guess, but probably,...
IE is running as a Web Proxy Client
WMP is running as a Winsock Proxy [Firewall] Client
