Hello All
I have deployed ISA Server 2006 ent edition and I'm haaving problems
enabling RDP to one of the ISA Server interfaces. I have edited the
system policy to include my machines address into the remote
management group but I still get a deny from the Enterprise Default
Rule - 0xc004000d FWX_E_POLICY_RULES_DENIED.
I cant see what the problem is. I only have the default configured
firewall policy rules and can succesfully RDP to the outside dirty DMZ
interface. The ISA servers have 2 nics one plugged into the dirty side
DMZ and the other into the clean. Each DMZ plugs into a PIX. I can see
that routing is fine as I see the Deny on the ISA box.
Can someone help me out here, this is driving me crazy!
Thanks
AJ
Just some more info on this it would appear that ISA is ignoring my
publishing rules too. I get trhe same deny message when attempting to
publish OWA and connect from the outside. The rule doesn't even show
up in the logging console so HTTPS never gets accepted. I have done
this a thousand times with ISA Standard edition and haven't had these
problems before. Is this something to do with Enterprise edition,
should I do anything with the policy ordering? I read that the array
level rules and firewall policy should be evaluated first but that
doesn't appear to be happening in my environment.
Thanks
AJ
