I have a blanket outbound access rule that applies to the entire site. It
basically states that All Users and all protocols have access to the
External
network. I’m getting a bunch of college students and some teachers who are
complaining because they can’t get to some https site from our network.
Because I’m given all protocols access to the external network, shouldn’t
this cover this? People can get to banking sites and that's going to https
sites?! On some of the college sites, we're getting the following error
msgs:
Error code : 502 Proxy Error. This specified Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)
port is not allowed. ISA Server is not configured to allow SSL requests
from
this port. Most Web browsers uses port 443 for SSL requests. (12204)
Not sure if 12204 is the port they are trying to use. Can someone let me
know how I can set it up to allow them access to their school(s) https
sites.
