The site can be accessed by using a published URL that has an inbound
allow
rule ie: http://internalweb.mycompany.com/website.
"Servername" in the above example has a www record in a local DNS zone and
can be properly resolved to the correct IP.
Netbios names (names without dots) need to be in WINS, not DNS. If you do
that in DNS it will convert it to http://servername.mycompany.com/website
http://internalweb.mycompany.com/website needs to resolve internally to the
same thing as "servername". This may require creating a new Zone in your
AD/DNS.
