Wthout knowing all the internal gory details of Slingbox traffic,...I would
put the Slingbox on the outside between the ISA and the outer Firewall (what
you called the Router). The Slingbox only has one Ethernet interface if I
remember properly, so just have it outside the ISA. The Video cables
providing input to the Slingbox don't have anything to do with Ethernet so
they would not care how you positioned it at the network level, and I cannot
think of a reason why internal users would ever access the Slingbox directly
since the Video feed is already available to them directly in the first
place. If it still doesn't work,..then all you have to worry about is get
it "right" with the one Firewall box instead of both the Firewall and the
ISA.
Otherwise, we'd have to know all the little gory details of how the Slingbox
traffic works,..and why.

I am trying to figure out how to configure my ISA Server 2004 to allow my
SlingBox to stream media to the internet. The device is configured to
stream
media on port 5004. I have set up my router (outside of my domain) to
forward requests for port 5004 to the ISA box. I have then created a
protocol that forwards requests for port 5004 to the SlingBox IP address.
I did some testing and after looking at the logs it looks like the inbound
request is received by the SlingBox, but then the outbound request
(streaming
media) is blocked. I then tried to set up a rule to allow the SlingBox
outbound access to the internet. Some outbound traffic is allowed (shows
up
in the logging under the new rule), but for some reason some outbound
traffic
under port 5004 is still blocked and is showing up under "general rule".
I
am baffled as to how I can open up the firewall to allow the media to
stream
out. I have moved the SlingBox outside of the ISA firewall and it works
fine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
