...(I had the issue on one of my projects):
Edit the local securtiy policies :
User Rights Assignment -->
Log on as a service (add NETWORK SERVICE),
if the problem still occurs: go on with,
Adjust memory quotas for a process (add NETWORK SERVICE),
Generate Security Audits (add NETWORK SERVICE),
Replace a process level token (add NETWORK SERVICE)

I've read this article but still cannot solve. I've been installed
ISA
2004
on this windows server domain controller before. But it crashes so
i
install
again but fail this time. According to the article , it is because
my
windows server is on win2000 domain but i do not have win2000
domain
and
also i have the network configuration domain group. I also
uninstall
AD
and
then install ISA and vice versa and also won't work.

Hi Daniel,
Are you installing ISA 2004 on a Domain Controller?
If so, please read the article below. If not, let me know.
Thanks.

When i setup isa 2004 on windows server standard domain, it has
this
error "

fail bacause of service configuration error". I've researched
that
this
problem is because there is no network configuration group in
domain.
But
that i have it in the domain. What else should i do ? Pls
advise.
Thanks
