Winsock Error

Dear Experts,
We used SBS 2000 for years and just upgraded server hardware recently to
have ISA 2000 up the first time for protecting our LAN.
An application needs to connect to POP3 server outside to download reports,
unfortunately the following error message was always prompt up during the
connection. We already added an allow IP packet filter and which let that
workstation (internal IP) connects to the POP3 (external IP) via TCP port
110.
--------------
Windows socket error: An established connection was aborted by the software
in your host machine (10053), on API 'recv'
--------------
If we turn off the ISA and firewall services and config this application to
connect Internet directly without using proxy, then it works perfectly!
I don't know why and how to config the ISA for this application while other
workstations are working fine with outlook to receive ISP emails when ISA is
up.
It will be grateful if your experts are able to give us some suggestions.
Thank you very much in advance!
With best regards,
HC
