isa 2004 started blocking outgoing SMTP

I'm not sure why --possibly a security patch from microsoft--- my isa
server started blocking outgoing smtp traffic. The logs just show
initiated connect then closed connection nothing else. Is anyone else
having this problem? I also called my isp to see if they are blocking
port 25 and they said no so unless the guy i was talking to had no idea
what i was asking it has to be my server causing the problem.
