Re: ISA Acting as DNS Forwarder
Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance
Hi,
wondering if there is anyway to setup ISA to act as a DNS forwarder to an
external DNS Server, I've looked through the options as well as this
newsgroup without success. I know I can just setup the MS DNS Service as
a
forwarder on the ISA box, but I was wondering if there was anything else
simpler.
install DNS on ISA, create a firewall rule that allows DNS access from
LOCALHOST to EXTERNAL and from your internal DNS Server to LOCALHOST.
Enable the DNS forwarder in the DNS MMC on ISA. That's all.
