Hm... that is what I've tried.
I inserted an access rule that allowed DNS and Server DNS to both AD
controllers. Funny thing is, that this rule is used but in the monitor I can
see that a DNS connection is initiated and is closed after a few seconds,
but there is no name resolution at all.
Any ideas?
TIA

Use an Access Rule to allow the AD/DNS machines to make anonymous outbound
DNS queries.

Good morning group,
I have a silly DNS problem that I can't deal with. I installed an ISA
2006
Standard and in my internal LAN there are two DNS Servers that should do
DNS.
(With root hints)
When they try to resolve a name, I see an "initiated DNS Connection"
entry
in the log, but nothing comes back. What did I do wrong?
TIA
Gunnar
