I un-installed ISA 2006 and the computer can see the domain again. I
installed ISA 2004 and now I can select a domain group. I believe you are
correct. Either the ISA rules or System Policy was cutting off the
comunications. I did not change any of the rules from the defaults. I
just updated the http access for all .com's.
Any idea what defautl rule would have caused this?

I don't know what to tell you. It acts like the ISA eitehr isn't a member or.
the ISA Rules or System Policy is cutting off communication to the DC. You
did make the R2 box a Domain Member before the ISA software was installed,
right?

I went to browse and tried changing the location but it does not show the
domain. Just the isa server.

You have to choose the right "Location" to search for the account when

I installed widnwos 2003 r2 on a new server. Registered the server
on
my
domain. I then installes ISA 2006 When I go to specify the user
groups that are allowed to vpn I only see the server and not the
windows
domain. The domain showed up prior to installing isa 2006. I
loged
in
with a domain user on to the server.
I am using the standard edition of ISA 2006
Is there a setting to alow for domain user groups?
