Luck is what I need! <g> This is exactly what I did a few months ago
when I started playing with ISA. I had the same problems, so I removed
ISA and re-installed it.
It worked fine until I shut thte machine down for about a month. When
I rebooted it, the lease on teh WAN (right now it is dynamic) IP had
expired, so it was given another IP address. It never worked again.
I have to be able to reconfigure the WAN nic! I'm setting it up on a
dynamic IP for testing, but later, we'll move our static IP(s) to it,
and it will have to be reconfigured.
(My WAN is a bridge to a switch in never-never land. I have fixed IPs
on it, and as well, can DHCP as many dynamic IP addresses as I might
need.)
I'll followup on your links in the sig, too.
