Hi,
At our company we have two sites.
On site A we have an server with isa and a server with exchange 2003.
On site B there is a server with ISA 2004 and exchange 2003 installed on the
same server.
Yesterday i've created an IPSec tunnel between the 2 sites.
On site A no problems. Everything works fine on site B except for one thing:
i'm unable to perform a telnet on port 25 to an external mail server
(outbound smtp).
If i do a telnet on another port, everything works fine.
Because of this error i get the 'unable to relay for ...' error when i try
to send an email with exchange.
If i look at the logging i see:
from localhost to external port 25 initiated connection (rule
internetaccess)
If i try a telnet from an internal client i get the same error and the
logging line is then:
from internal to external port 25 initiated connection (rule
internetaccess)
I don't see any denied connection attempts.
What could be wrong here ?
Regards,
Peter
