I'm new to ISA 2004. We will be using ISA 2004 for it's proxy services. We
have a mixture of Windows 2000 professional and Windows XP professional
client computers.

The problem is that we can't get the Windows 2000 clients to authenticate to
ISA, configuring them as a Web Proxy client or a Firewall client. Windows XP
clients work fine configured as Web Proxy clients. What do we need to do to
get the Windows 2000 clients to authenticate to ISA? Thanks for your help.

Navigate to Configuration->General node. Find "Define firewall client
settings" shortcut. Open it. Check option "Allow non-encrypted firewall
client connections".
