Thanks Jim - That fixed event error.

Still have the red X on the segment between local domain and the Internet.

Edit your ISA configuration as:
<ArrayName>
|- Configuration
|- General
|- Define Firewall Client Settings

1. Select the "Application Settings" tab
2. Dbl-click the "svchost DisableEx 1" entry
3. Change "Value" to "1"
4. Click "Save", "Apply" and "OK
5. When prompted, click "Apply" to save your changes to ISA storage

..now go to the client
1. Log on as an account with local admin rights
2. Open a cmd window
3. Type 'net stop fwcagent & net start fwcagent' (no quotes)

You'll stop seeing this error.

I'm running Vista64 Ultimate in a SBS 2003 R2 network with ISA 2004.
Every time I start the Vista client I get the following error. Any ideas?
Also the Network and Sharing Center shows a red cross on the local domain to
Internet segment. Yet I can browse the web without any problems.

Log Name: Application
Source: Microsoft Firewall Client 2004
Date: 28/02/2007 2:07:01 pm
Event ID: 1
Task Category: None

Computer: Vista64.domain.local
Description:

not accepted by ISA Server. Verify that the user account running this
application has the required permissions.
