I would apprecait any help on these issues:
1. Should the Windows Firewall/Internet Connection service be running on a
ISA server? If so I get a error stating it could not start. Error 123: The
filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.
The Windows Firewall service should not be run on the computer running ISA Server. Forcing it to run on ISA server computer will exhibit improper funtionality. See http://technet2.microsoft.com/WindowsServer/en/library/acfdc951-9f80-4260-9303-b8c5d0f0b2b61033.mspx?mfr=true
2. Went to install my veritas backup client on my proxy server and it keeps
telling me the username or password is invalid which I know is correct
because I can connect to other servers. The only thing I can find is that I
cannot connect to any of the hidden shares (c$) on the proxy server.
However, I can connect from the proxy server to any other server using these
shares. Is ISA blocking access to these shares by default?
Try creating a rule that allows all protocols from the Veritas BE server to Localhost for All Users.
Thanks for the help.
